Civic Influence Hub and the Civic Committee for Building a Citizenship State visiting the Prime Minister Nawaf Salam

The full implementation of the Taëf Accord ensures the building of a sovereign, free, just, and independent state of citizenship!

As part of ongoing efforts to draft legislative proposals related to structural reforms outlined in the Taëf Accord and the Lebanese Constitution, a delegation from the Civic Influence Hub Board of Directors and the Civic Committee for Building a Citizenship State visited the Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam.

The delegation briefed the Prime Minister on the Hub’s efforts across three dynamics National, Diaspora, and Public Diplomacy, aimed at building a sovereign, free, just, and independent state of citizenship. The delegation presented to Prime Minister a comprehensive file that included: The roadmap paper: “Civic Influence Hub: Towards the Civic Committee for Building a Citizenship State”, a general introduction titled: “Lebanon: The Final Homeland in Reality and Meaning”, a framework paper: “Towards a Sovereign, Free, Just, and Independent State of Citizenship”, papers and draft laws including: “Sectarianism and Political Sectarianism”, a draft law for the establishment of the “National Commission to Abolish Political Sectarianism”, a draft law to amend the “Parliamentary Electoral Law”, amendments to the proposed law on “Expanded Administrative Decentralization”, a draft law to “Restore the Authority to Interpret the Constitution to the Constitutional Council”, “Amendments and observations on the proposed Law on Judicial Independence”, a framework paper: “Towards a Unified and Optional Civic Personal Status Law in Lebanon”, a framework paper: “On the Senate in Lebanon”. The delegation attentively listened to the guidance of the Prime Minister, and both parties agreed on continuing their joint cooperation in the service of the #Lebanese_Cause.
