The Civic Influence Hub (CIH) held its 13th General Assembly at its headquarters in Beirut. The agenda included a review of the CIH activities throughout 2024, along with discussions on the strategy for the upcoming period. The General Assembly reaffirmed the CIH commitment to the ongoing pursuit of building a citizenship-based state, restoring full sovereignty, completing the implementation of the Taëf Accord, and launching structural and sectoral reform processes. It also emphasized strengthening coordination with active societal forces, both residents and expatriates, based on a participatory approach to shaping public policies that ensure good governance and safeguard Lebanese identity.
The General Assembly also elected a Board of Directors, which includes the following members: Mr. Faysal El-Khalil as President, Dr. Abdel Salam Hasbini as Vice President, and Mr. Elias Houayek, Mr. Elie Gebrayel, Mr. Fady Rahme, Mr. Richard Haykel, and Mr. Mutaz Sawaf as members.
